Hi, I'm Merry, and this is my own little corner of Riata. My husband Wolf and I have ridden in competitions since we were children, and in January of 2010 we decided that I would finally realize my dream of becoming a full-time equestrian. I started at an enormous show barn in Canada, Zodiac Sport Horses. Within a very short time, it was clear that we needed more room -- we had gone from two horses to eighteen in a few short months! We came back to the US and signed a lease for a 40-stall barn at Foxwood Farm, a beautiful facility in Indiana. Wolf began looking for the perfect property at a price we could afford. Not an easy task! However, my husband is a model of German efficiency and uncovered a gem of a property in less than three months.

Terra Nova is now situated on a 500+ acre equestrian center in Northern California, with fifteen twenty-stall barns, a beautiful indoor arena with a translucent roof, two large outdoor arenas,a world-class cross country course, and a racetrack. The whole thing was built by GreenMod, Inc., a Seattle-based modular architecture company, but the owner went into foreclosure before he even moved in. His loss, our gain! We managed to get an amazing price in exchange for a few concessions. GreenMod will occasionally give clients a tour of our facilities, but it's rarely a bother. We love visitors. After all, if they're looking at equestrian facilities, they're potential customers!
